- Does JAP work for a small boarding kennel?
- That's mostly who uses it. If you've got six runs and a whiteboard, JAP replaces the whiteboard: you set up your runs and suites the way they actually exist, and the board shows what's free tonight. There's no minimum size and nothing to install.
- Can I stop double-booking a run?
- Yes, and you don't have to think about it. A run that's occupied can't be booked again for those dates, full stop. If someone tries, JAP says no and offers the runs that are actually open.
- How do deposits and extra nights get billed?
- Take a deposit when the reservation is made, add extras like medication or a bath as the stay goes on, and everything lands on one invoice at check-out. Clients pay by card through Stripe; the money goes to your Stripe account, not ours.
- What happens if a dog's vaccinations have expired?
- The pet gets flagged before the stay, and you'll see it on the board and at check-in. You can still take the booking (some owners bring the paperwork on the day), but nobody has to remember to check.
- How much does boarding software from JAP cost?
- Free to start with 3 active pets and 5 reservations a month, then $20, $40 or $60 a month based on how many staff accounts you need. Every plan includes boarding, records, invoicing and payments; higher plans add seats, deeper Buddy AI automation and more productivity tools.
