Multi-service setup/10 min

Setting up JAP for a multi-service business

You don't need a separate system per service. One JAP business can run several kinds of care, with each one keeping its own capacity, colour and rhythm.

Steps

  1. Turn on the care types you run

Each one appears with its own colour across the calendar, filters and analytics.

  2. Set capacity per care type

Boarding beds and daycare places are counted separately, so one can't quietly eat the other.

  3. Build the full service list

Group services by category so the booking screen stays readable.

  4. Match staff access to the work

Groomers, walkers and front desk don't all need the same view.

  5. Agree how combined visits are recorded

A groom during a boarding stay should be visible on both the stay and the invoice.

Day-to-day operations

  • Filter the day view by service when a specific team needs their own list.
  • Use analytics by service to see which part of the business is really carrying the month.

Suggested first steps

  • Turn on your care types.
  • Set capacity for each.
  • Run one day that includes at least two kinds of service.
