How to add your team

JAP is easier when the whole team is in it. Roles decide what each person can open, so a groomer sees the work and the owner keeps the business settings.

What you end up with: Everyone signed in with the access their job needs, and nothing more.

Steps

  1. Decide who needs an account

Anyone who books, checks in, cares for pets or invoices. Seats are part of your plan, so check the count first.

  2. Send the invitations

Invite each person by email from Settings; they set their own password.

  3. Assign roles

Give each person the role that matches their job. Owner access should stay with the owner.

  4. Add shifts

Put the week's shifts in so the schedule reflects who's actually on.

  5. Walk one person through their first day

The fastest adoption route is one member of staff doing one real check-in with you watching.

Recommended setup

  • One account per person — shared logins make the record of who did what useless.
  • Review access when someone changes role or leaves.

Tips

  • Seat counts differ by plan; check pricing before inviting a large team.
  • Staff can be assigned to tasks and shifts, which is what makes the task board useful.
